Ruthann Minor

September 17, 1947 - July 19, 2017

Ruthann Minor, 69 of New Geneva, Pa. went home to be with her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 with her loving family by her side. She was born September 17, 1947 in Morgantown, W.Va., the daughter of the late Walter Minor Jr. and Mildred Levina (Miller) Minor. Surviving are her five children, Sandy and husband Russell Murray, Christine and husband Bruce Clites, Kevin and wife Diane Leitter, Ronald “Lee” Leitter and Shannon Leitter; grandchildren; brother, Bruce D. Minor Sr. and companion Donna; two sisters, Linda D. Minor and Cindy and husband Jim Marshall; many loving nieces and nephews; her loving companion of eight years, David L. Miller and her lifelong best friend, Reva and husband Walter Kuzniar. Ruthann was an avid animal lover and had many feral cats that she cared for in addition to her three precious house cats, Joey, Scooter and Spot that she loved and cared for also. Everyone is invited to attend a Memorial Service and Dinner on Monday, July 24, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the Fallen Timbers Community Chapel, 112 Fallen Timbers Road, Point Marion, Pa. 15474. A special thank you is extended to Amedisys Hospice of Masontown Staff, Nurses and Aides for all of the quality care given to Mom. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Sandy Murray, 2467 Springhill Furnace Road, Lake Lynn, Pa. 15451 for final expenses and long term care of her feral cats.
