Patrick J. “Pat” Urbania, 69, of Smithfield, Pa., died unexpectedly Sunday, April 14, 2019, at his home. Born at home on May 4, 1949, he was a son of the late Stella (Buncic) Urbania. A 1967 graduate of Albert Gallatin High School, Pat was a proud veteran of the United State Marine Corps, having served overseas during the Vietnam Conflict. After his discharge, he returned home to work on the family farms in Nicholson and Springhill Townships. He is survived by one brother, Vincent “Sonny” Urbania, two sisters, Janet Doldan and Joanne Graziani, two aunts, Elizabeth Mcelroy Morris and Edith Buncic, all of Smithfield; loving nieces and nephew and their spouses, Richard and Susan Graziani, Renee and Jeff Riley, Stephanie and Mike Bradley, Tonette and Ken Clere, Daphne Bowman, and Janel and Scott Martin; many cousins and their families; and by the love of his life, Madonna Nicklow, her daughter, Katrina Kingan, of York Run; and two granddaughters, Katie and Sarah. Friends will be received in the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, on Saturday, from 10 AM, until the 1:00 PM hour of service, with Rev. Mike Lyons officiating. Interment follows in the Little Arlington Section of Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion, with Military Rites accorded at the graveside by the Point Marion Veteran Posts.
