Mary Louise Dingle

September 21, 1938 - March 17, 2015

Mary Louise (Dusenberry) Dingle, 76, of Dilliner, Pa., passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at the Rolling Meadows Nursing Home in Waynesburg. Born in Dunkard Township on Sept. 21, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Kathryn (Mapel) Dusenberry. Louise was an active and faithful member of the Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church in Dilliner, where she served as Church Council President, and was Past Secretary of the United Methodist Women. She had previously worked as a clerk at the Dilliner Post Office, and, for many years, worked the polls on Election Day in Dunkard Township, where she enjoyed being out visiting with her friends and neighbors. She is survived by her two children, Kimberly L. (Dingle) Lemley of Bedford, Texas, and Fred Dingle of Dilliner; a granddaughter, Marissa Dawn Lemley, of Texas; and a number of loving nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and many friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Earl Eugene Dingle on Aug. 27, 2003. Friends will be received in the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, Pa., on Friday from 2 – 4 and 7 - 9 P.M., and Saturday in the Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, Dilliner, from 10 AM until the hour of service at 11:00 AM, with Rev. John Hodge officiating. Interment follows in Wolf’s Cemetery, Dilliner.
