Donna Lorraine Baker Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Donna Lorraine Baker, 70, of Elyria, Ohio, and formerly of the Lake Lynn area, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 16, 2017 in Elyria, following a brief illness. Born August 11, 1946 in Morgantown, W.Va., she was the beloved daughter of the late Daniel A. and Nellie (Lyons) Baker. Surviving are her sisters, Esther Baker and Evelyn Johnston, both of California, Blanche Shipp and Janet Hatch, both of Elyria, and Wendy Baker of Smithfield; four brothers and their wives, Clyde and Helena Baker of Crafton, Pa., Ralph and Karen Baker of Waldorf, Maryland, Wayne Baker of Lake Lynn, and her twin brother, Daniel Baker and his wife Mary Ann, of Cheat Lake W.Va.; three sisters-in-law, Sandy Baker of Elyria, who, along with her late husband, Melvin, has been Donna’s caregivers for the past 20 years, Lovana Baker of Carnegie, Pa., and Anne Baker of Fairmont, W.Va.; a brother-in-law, Paul Scott of Grafton, Ohio; and a number of loving nieces and nephews and their families. She was predeceased by brothers, Melvin, Jerry, Ben, Donald, and Paul Baker, and a sister, Annabelle Scott. Friends will be received in the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, Pa., on Friday, from 6 – 8 P.M., and Saturday from 10 until the 11:00 AM hour of service. Donna will be interred beside her parents in Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion. Memorial Services for Donna in the Elyria area will be held in the Grace Baptist Church, 38079 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, on April 8th at 11:00 AM.
