Betty V. Imrich Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Betty V. Imrich, 91, of Bobtown, Pa., passed away quietly Saturday, June 14, 2014, in the Point Manor Personal Care Home. Born in Hiller, Pa. on Jan. 9, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Kavlick) Pesosky. A 1940 graduate of Point Marion High School, she had worked as the school secretary at the Bobtown School prior to her marriage. Betty was a faithful member of St. Ignatius of Antioch R.C. Church in Bobtown and the Rosary Altar Society. Surviving are her loving children and their spouses, Jerry and Barbara Imrich of Virginia Beach, VA, Dr. Bernard Imrich of Waynesburg, Vicki and Bill Orr of Athens, GA, and Regina and Todd Buckhalter of Morgantown, WV; ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Thomas Pesosky of Mentor, OH, and Richard Pesosky of Cleveland, OH. Her husband, John B. “Ben” Imrich passed away Nov. 24, 1993. Friends will be received in the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, Thursday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 9 PM and Friday, June 20th, until 9:15 AM, when a prayer service will be held, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Ignatius R.C. Church, with Rev. Fr. Lawrence V. Holpp as celebrant. Interment follows in Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion. Vigil Service will be held Thursday at 8:30 PM.
