Alice Eileen Weeder, 72, of Lake Lynn, Pa., passed away Monday, August 14, 2017, at her home, following a brief illness, with her loving family at her side. Born in Morgantown, W.Va. on Feb. 13, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Earl L. and Elsie Belle (Simpkins) Hart. She had formerly worked in the cafeteria at the University Hospital in Morgantown. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and is survived by her three children and their spouses, Marie “Dutch” and Charlie Wade of Lake Lynn, Lana Jo “Punk” and David McClain of Point Marion, and Joseph F. Jr. and Lydia Weeder of Laurel Point W.Va.; six grandchildren, Jennifer Belt, Kaycee Cunningham, D.J. McClain, Amanda Smitley, and Chelsea and Leah Weeder; four great-grandsons, Brendan and Alex Joseph Belt, and Jacob and Ethan Cunningham; a sister, Dawn Gribble of Bruceton Mills, W.Va., and a brother Harvey Hart of Uniontown, Pa. Her husband, Joseph Weeder, Sr., passed away on August 25, 2010. Also deceased is her son, Roger R.Stone; a brother, Earl J. Hart; and a sister, Shirley McElroy. Honoring her wishes, there will be no public services. Arrangements are in the care of the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, Pa.
